Hans van der Kwast, Associate Professor
Hans is the owner and founder of QWAST GIS and has over 20 years of experience as a physical geographer specializing in GIS and Remote Sensing. Hans brings a wealth of Open Source GIS e-learning courses, videos, books, and expertise to the table. He is currently an Associate Professor of Open Science and Digital Innovation at the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education. In addition to his academic role, Hans provides global consulting, training, and coaching in the field of open-source GIS, helping organizations and professionals in the geospatial sector.
Anton Schutte MSc IT, BSc Geodesy
Anton is the managing director and founder of Geo-ICT Training Center in the Netherlands. Anton and his colleagues have helped over 200 recent graduates get a strong start in the geospatial job market. With a background in geodesy and IT, he combines technical expertise, education, and labor market development. Since the founding of Geo-ICT in 2009, Anton has been dedicated to training, mentoring, and positioning both new and experienced professionals.
