We are looking for instructors and specialists who can be assigned to various projects and who also enjoy teaching hands-on courses on a regular basis. The courses are often held in Apeldoorn, but also at client locations throughout the country.

Our experienced instructors and specialists have a repertoire, meaning they can teach one or more courses from our extensive course catalog. They have extensive experience with these courses and find it energizing to share their knowledge with our students.

  • Offers one or more courses from our catalog. These include courses in CAD, GIS, geodesy, ICT, and geography.
  • Has good teaching skills or is interested in receiving further training in this area
  • In addition, the company also provides part-time secondment services to clients

What do we offer you?

  • We offer an exciting job at a rapidly growing training company. You will teach courses lasting 3 to 4 days each to adult learners. These are groups of 3 to 8 adults who are trained in skills they can immediately apply at work the very next day.

Who are you?

  • You have a degree from a university of applied sciences or a research university
  • You already have a BKO qualification or plan to obtain one

As an Instructor/Specialist, you will teach practical courses (e.g., CAD, GIS, geodesy, ICT, or geography-related topics) from the Geo-ICT course catalog. You will deliver lessons, mentor students, and share your knowledge. Not necessarily—experience in the field (CAD, GIS, geoinformation, etc.) is important, but you can also learn it here. Teaching skills are preferred, but you can also develop them further: Geo-ICT offers the opportunity to work as both a specialist and an instructor and gain experience.

You can combine teaching with practical assignments for external clients: this means you won’t just be in the classroom, but will also participate in projects where your expertise is valuable. This allows you to keep your knowledge up to date and gain hands-on experience.

  • Strong technical expertise in areas such as CAD, GIS, geoinformation, or ICT.

You combine knowledge transfer with hands-on experience: you keep your professional expertise up to date by working on projects while contributing to the development of new geoprofessionals. In addition, you alternate between remote and on-site work during your workweek, which most of our employees find to be a great aspect of this role.
