Daily Schedule Zapier Automation

Day 1 – Introduction to Zapier and Working with Simple Integrations

The first day is dedicated to getting acquainted with Zapier and understanding how applications work together through triggers and actions. We’ll start with an overview of process thinking and why integrating tools is becoming increasingly important in a digital work environment where data is spread across multiple systems.

Next, you’ll get a thorough introduction to the Zapier environment. The interface, terminology, and basic structure of a Zap (trigger, action, and steps) will be explained step by step. We’ll focus on selecting the right triggers, setting up actions, and correctly transferring data between applications.

During the practical session, you’ll build simple Zaps yourself. You’ll learn how to connect apps, how data is automatically transferred, and how to maintain control over what happens when a Zap is executed. We’ll also cover testing Zaps, identifying errors, and adjusting settings to create reliable connections.

In addition, working with filters will be covered, so that actions are only executed when certain conditions are met. This provides insight into how you can set up targeted and controlled processes using relatively simple tools.

Day 2 – Advanced Topics, Multi-Step Zaps, and Smart Use of Zapier

The second day focuses on further expanding integrations and working with more advanced features within Zapier. We’ll start by structuring Zaps and designing clear workflows that are easy to maintain.

Next, we’ll work with multi-step Zaps, where multiple actions are executed in sequence. You’ll learn how to edit, enrich, and reuse data between steps. We’ll also cover Zapier Paths and conditions, which enable different follow-up steps depending on the situation.

An important part of this day is using Zapier more effectively within broader processes. This includes supporting collaboration, automatically informing teams, synchronizing data between systems, and reducing manual checks.

We’ll also focus on using AI features within Zapier and how they can be leveraged to support tasks, process information, or help prepare decisions. Finally, topics such as management, overview, data security, and the responsible use of integrations will be covered.

The day consists of a combination of theory and hands-on practice, during which participants will work on realistic scenarios that combine multiple techniques and demonstrate how Zapier can be effectively used within various work contexts.
